Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains what we collect when you use the OpenPageRank API and website, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account identity. When you sign in with your Keywords Everywhere key, we receive an account identifier, your email, and your plan tier. The OPR API keys you create are stored only as hashes, never in plaintext.
- API usage. We log which key made a request, the number of domains looked up, and timestamps, to authenticate you and enforce plan limits.
- Server logs. Standard web-server data such as IP address and user agent, kept for security and troubleshooting.
The domains you look up are public internet domains, not personal data about you.
How we use it
To verify your account, enforce monthly domain limits, operate and secure the Service, and improve it. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Identity provider
Keywords Everywhere is our identity and billing provider. Your Keywords Everywhere key verifies your account and determines your plan; their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and (during private testing) a temporary access cookie. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Sharing
We share data only with the infrastructure providers that run the Service, and with Keywords Everywhere for identity and billing. We disclose data if required by law.
Retention
We keep account and usage records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security and legal purposes.
Security
Connections are encrypted with TLS and OPR API keys are stored only as hashes. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Your choices
You can revoke OPR API keys at any time on the dashboard. To request access to or deletion of your account data, contact us.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy here with an updated date.
